Bitfinexen:Most of the big cryptocurrencies fall as Uniswap plummets
Most of the biggest cryptocurrencies were down in early trade on Tuesday, with Uniswap UNIUSD, -0.06% down the most, down 1.38% to $8.35.
Six more currencies fell on Tuesday. Ethereum ETHUSD, -0.32%, was down 1.21% to $1,881.64, and Bitcoin Cash BCHUSD, -0.60% was down 0.90% to $136.18.
Polkadot DOTUSD, -0.49%, was down 0.90% to $8.74, while Bitcoin BTCUSD, -0.53% was down 0.74% to $23,891.84. Cardano ADAUSD, -1.57% was down 0.27% at 55 cents.
Ripple XRPUSD, +0.27%, was the least down, down 0.02% to 37 cents
On the other hand, the two cryptocurrencies were up, with Dogecoin DOGEUSD gaining 0.45% and the biggest gainer at 13.77% to 9 cents. Litecoin LTCUSD, -0.02% rose 0.07% to $60.83.
In cryptocurrency-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. COIN were down -1.72%, down 5.97% to $86.48, while shares of MicroStrategy Inc. MSTR -1.84% were down 2.66% to $339.78. Riot Blockchain Inc. RIOT, -6.05% was down 4.35% to $9.34 and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. MARA, -4.36% was down 4.71% to $16.82.
Overstock.com Inc. OSTK, +11.76% rose 2.10% to $31.18, while Block Inc. SQ, -0.97% fell 3.54% to $83.65 and Tesla Inc. TSLA, -0.89% rose 0.41% to $931.76.
